Hola! Somos Eliana y Virginia, copilotas, copiloting through our teaching adventures. We met at Occidental College (Eliana is class of 2008, Virginia is Class of 2010), but our paths didn't cross again until we found out we were both teaching at the same high school. Since then, we have participated in the same committees, mentored, chaperoned, and advised clubs together. We spent so much time talking about teaching and supporting each other that one administrator even had us confused! We decided it was finally time to take our work, conversations, and amistad and land here to help others and share this process with you. We aim to provide consejos (tips) that you can apply in your classroom.

Eliana teaches three different levels of Spanish: Honors, AP Spanish Language, and AP Spanish Literature while Virginia teaches AP English Language and Composition, American Literature, and our college preparatory class, PODER (Pursuing Our Dreams through Education and Responsibility).

Although our subjects may look different from a distance, we have so much in common. You’ll often find us sharing lessons and ideas that work for both our subjects. We hope you enjoy coming to our page and learning, laughing, and growing with us!
